What it does
Custom fields from the list itself
The mapping screen reads the fields defined on the list you chose, so what you can map is always what the list actually holds.
One key, every list
Set the API key once for the site and choose a different list per form.
Failures stay visible
A rejected subscriber is recorded against the entry with the reason TouchBasePro gave, rather than disappearing.
Getting it working
-
01
Add your API key
Paste a TouchBasePro API key into the xpac settings screen.
-
02
Pick the list
Add the delivery to your form and choose the subscriber list.
-
03
Map name, email and fields
Email is required. Name and custom fields are optional.
Every setting
What you can configure, and where it lives. Site settings apply everywhere; the rest are set on the form itself.
| Setting | Scope | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| API key | Site setting | Write-only. Never returned to the browser. |
| List | Per delivery | Read live from your account. |
| Per delivery | Required. | |
| Name | Per delivery | Optional. |
| Custom fields | Per delivery | Defined on the list. |
Questions
Is this the same integration as Campaign Monitor?
They are separate deliveries with separate keys. The setup feels similar because both platforms model lists the same way.
Can I use it alongside another email platform?
Yes. A form can carry as many deliveries as you like, and each runs independently of the others.
What happens on a duplicate email address?
The existing subscriber is updated with the fields you mapped.
Does it need a paid TouchBasePro plan?
Any plan that issues an API key will work.
