What it does

List custom fields, mapped

Each list carries its own custom fields, and the mapping screen reads them from the list you picked rather than offering a generic set.

Client and list chosen separately

Agencies running several clients from one account select the client first, then the list beneath it.

Resubscribes handled

Someone who previously unsubscribed is not silently re-added; Campaign Monitor’s own rules decide, and the result is recorded on the entry.

Getting it working

  1. 01

    Add your API key

    Paste a Campaign Monitor API key into the xpac settings screen.

  2. 02

    Choose client and list

    Add the delivery to your form, pick the client ID, then the subscriber list underneath it.

  3. 03

    Map name, email and fields

    Email is required; name and the list custom fields are yours to map.

Where do I find my client ID?

You do not need to look it up. The delivery lists every client your API key can see and you pick one.

Can one form write to two clients?

Yes. Add the delivery twice, each with its own client and list.

Does it respect suppression lists?

Yes. Suppression is enforced by Campaign Monitor, and the outcome comes back on the entry so you can see what happened.

What if a list custom field is required?

Map a form field to it and mark that form field required, so the check happens before the person leaves the page.
