What it does

Profile properties from your answers

Write standard properties and your own custom ones from the same mapping screen, so a segment built on them is ready the moment the form is submitted.

Subscribed to the list you choose

The delivery subscribes the profile rather than only creating it, so your flows trigger without a second step.

Consent recorded honestly

Subscription is sent as an explicit consent event, so what Klaviyo stores matches what the person actually agreed to on your form.

Getting it working

  1. 01

    Add your API key

    Create a private API key in Klaviyo with list and profile access, then paste it into the xpac settings screen.

  2. 02

    Pick the list

    Add the Klaviyo delivery and choose which list the profile is subscribed to.

  3. 03

    Map your properties

    Match form fields to profile properties. Anything unmapped stays off the profile.

Does this need a public or private key?

A private key. The public site key is for browser tracking; subscribing a profile happens server-side so the key never reaches the page.

Will it trigger my welcome flow?

Yes, as long as the flow is triggered by joining the list you selected.

Can I set a custom property that does not exist yet?

Yes. Klaviyo creates custom properties on first write, so mapping to a new name is enough.

What about people who do not tick the consent box?

Gate the delivery with a condition from Conditional Logic and it only runs when the box is ticked.
