What it does

Attributes filled from the form

Map any answer onto a Brevo contact attribute. Text, number, date and boolean attributes are each converted to the shape Brevo stores them in.

Straight into the right list

Choose the list on the delivery, so a newsletter form and a demo request form can feed different audiences from the same page.

Existing contacts updated, not duplicated

A repeat submission refreshes the attributes you mapped and leaves everything else on the contact untouched.

Getting it working

  1. 01

    Add your API key

    Generate a v3 API key in Brevo and paste it into the xpac settings screen.

  2. 02

    Pick the list

    Add the Brevo delivery to your form and choose which contact list new entries join.

  3. 03

    Map your attributes

    Match form fields to contact attributes. The email field is the only one Brevo insists on.

Which Brevo plan do I need?

Any plan that issues a v3 API key, including the free one. Contact creation is not a paid feature.

Can I send transactional email through this?

No. This delivery manages contacts. Use the SendGrid or Brevo SMTP route in your mail configuration for sending.

What happens to an attribute Brevo does not recognise?

It is dropped and the rest of the contact is written. The attribute list is read from your account, so a typo is not possible from the mapping screen.

Does it work with double opt-in?

Yes. Point the delivery at a double opt-in list and Brevo sends its own confirmation before the contact becomes active.
